How to tell you,
What is sweeter than a drop of honey,
Sweeter than a grain of sugar,
Sweeter than the juice of a strawberry;
How to tell you,
Nothing is sweeter than your tongue,
Melting like ice in my mouth;
How to tell you,
What is a flower without a bumble bee,
Or a bumble bee without a flower,
Or me without you, or you without me.

I imagine that anyone serenaded in this way would just melt in your arms 🙂 I must find time to read more of your work 🙂

Thank you David. I am a creative writer and poet. I don’t expect anyone to melt in my arms (lol). On the other hand, I will love to melt in someone’s arms (lol)

Thank you, dear poet. ‘Your tongue melting like ice…’ it’s the flower talking to the bumblebee. You may have noticed the use of metaphors in my poetry. In the end, I do the composing, I leave it to the reader to interpret what I have composed to his heart’s content.

Well thanks to you.. Anita..
It has been a pleasure to have your words buzzing around my mind now..
Surely beautiful and full of romantic notions.. And yes I have to say that your work is sounding more like a lyrical tale.

It is for me to thank you. Love in itself is a lyrical tale.
