Confinement Florets

Mimosas blossom

Feature of the break of Spring

Light rain starts to fall

Mimosas Blossoms

Camellias in bloom

Sparrows sing a lovely song –

Buddha awakens

Camellias in bloom

Feeble butterfly

Struggles out of its cocoon –

Bloom opens its folds

Monday morning blues

I try to follow the ant –

I land on a rose

Sunflowers stand proud

Under the scorching midday sun –

Petals as soft as pain

Written during second lockdown in Mauritius, these haiku florets and others to come, keep me sane and healthy.

    1. Thank you Jeff
I have written more, lately about the war
Sadly I have become slow with aging and poor health .
Yet I am still active on Twitter and Facebook.
      Eyes are sore too.
Anyways no worries. Thank you for reading my haiku.

  1. You’re most welcome, Anita. Always. I’ve written more about war lately too. Hard not to. I’m sorry to read this, and am sending you healing meditations. Oh, I didn’t know you were on Twitter. I’m on there quite a bit. I will look for you. Blessings to you. 🙏❤️
