How to tell you

Anita Bacha

How to tell you,

What is sweeter than a drop of honey,

Sweeter than a grain of sugar,

Sweeter than the juice of a strawberry;

How to tell you,

Nothing is sweeter than your tongue,

Melting like ice in my mouth;

How to tell you,

What is a flower without a bumble bee,

Or a bumble bee without a flower,

Or me without you, or you without me.

    1. Thank you, dear poet. ‘Your tongue melting like ice…’ it’s the flower talking to the bumblebee. You may have noticed the use of metaphors in my poetry. In the end, I do the composing, I leave it to the reader to interpret what I have composed to his heart’s content.

        Well thanks to you.. Anita..
        It has been a pleasure to have your words buzzing around my mind now..
        Surely beautiful and full of romantic notions.. And yes I have to say that your work is sounding more like a lyrical tale.
