NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

Welcome 2022!

We don’t want to look back at the year 2021.

Many have lost a loved one, a family member or a friend as a virus reigns supreme in the world. As all bad things have a good side, human beings realize that we are all one,irrespective of our faith, religion, color of skin,likes and dislikes. COVID-19 does not choose; it doesn’t prefer one to the other. It’s a killer. It destroys all humans.

With the above in mind, I woke up this Saturday morning and picked up my pen , a piece of paper and I wrote my new year resolution. Yes, I have only one resolution. I recall when I was a kid, my mom would ask, every new year day –

Ani, have you written your new year resolutions, my child ?

Writing the new year resolutions was a tradition in our family, among the other traditions which we followed ceremoniously, too many to mention here. The only family tradition that remains after I adopted modern thoughts and life style is to jot down the new year resolutions.

A new year resolution is a traditional custom in which we resolve to continue good practices, change a bad habit or behavior, decide to achieve a personal goal, or improve family relationships and lead a happy life.

My new year resolution comes straight from my heart. It is to continue to see beauty in all things and god in all beings.

What are your new year’s resolutions?

Happy New Year 2021 to all !

Carpe Diem!

Happy Teddy Day

I close my eyes and I smile,

I think of my teddy by my side,

How chummy can we be,

Under the shower,

When we lather up each other playfully,

And,slurp the water running down our body;

On the bed,

When we touch every part of each other,

And,discover the joy of connubial intimacy;

Every thought of you,

The vegetable biryani we share,

The ride in the auto in the busy fair,

The transience of our meeting,

When you come home from the city,

The farewell,

When you leave to catch the night train,

The helpless look in your beautiful eyes,

A selfie, a promise to remain truthful,

No matter what, the lure,the pull;

My sweet hubby,

As I sit down to milk the cow in the shed,

I recall I am your Chocolaty milkmaid,

The girl from a faraway village,

In your book of fairies, a page;

Illiterate, I don’t know the word ‘Valentine ‘,

All I know, I am yours and you are mine.

Your Voice

Your voice is an eternal song,

Your voice lulls me to sleep,

Your voice calls me to dream,

Your voice brings tears to my eyes,

Your voice makes me smile,

Your voice seduces my mind,

Your voice unleashes my needs,

Your voice arouses my passion,

Your voice fills up my senses,

Your voice touches my soul,

Your voice is all I heed.

Without You

Without you,

I am sad,

Feeling bad,

I am missing you;

Wooing long distance relationship,

Missing your hug and your kiss;

You are the blush on my lips,

You are the scent on my clothes,

You are my favorite rose 🌹

Without you,

I still love you 😍
