Yakamoz – A Poem by Anita Bacha

On a fleeting mystic night

In the sleepy waters of the sea

I behold a stunning yakamoz

Alluring ripples of silver and light blue floating

Bewitched by the sight

I drown myself in her beguiling soul

‘Yakamoz’ is a Japanese word meaning the reflection of the moon on the surface of water, it can be a lake,a river or the sea or any other expanse of water.

I have just learned this word.It strikes me by its beauty.

Waves – Haiku – A Poem by Anita Bacha

Waves possess the shore

Endless dance of time and tide

Nature’s gentle roar

Waves fondling the shore cc Anita Bacha

The Sea Pulls Its Waves – Haiku by Anita Bacha

The sea pulls its waves

Molten colors on pebbles

Such a lovely dusk

Birds fly far away

Leaving a quill on the shore

A poem starts here
