Alabaster Moon – Tanka – A Poem by Anita Bacha

Alabaster moon

Hearkening to thunderstorm

Petrified seamen

Lost in the midst of nowhere

Haunting memories of home

Two years later, I was inspired to write and published two other books - WAKASHIO, a storybook for children, and PINK MOON - AN ANTHOLOGY OF HAIKU POEMS. I love to write. I guess my writing has a special clichΓ© of island 🌴 life, natural, unpretentious, and full of beauty.

      1. Oh, I’m sorry for your eyes, Anita! I had a brain trauma when I was 3 months old, and I lost the olfact, part of my right ear hearing, and 90% of the vision of my right eye. We should take care of our bodies. Take care! πŸ’ Your tankas and haΓ―kus are always beautiful.
