Stay With Me – A Poem by Anita Bacha

Stay with me

Stay with me as flushes of pink

Stain the petals of the rose

Stay with me as the light

Hovers over the burning wick

Stay with me as the wine

Imbues my breath and thine

Stay with me as the moon

Smiles in the dark night

    1. Thank you, Michael. Glad you enjoyed, my dear friend. I wrote and published two poetry books before I engaged myself in writing haikus. Stay with me is featured in my book INK, Echo of life and love, published in Mauritius by Editions de l’Ocean Indien. Soul Poetry, my debut poetry book published by Partridge is available on Amazon.
