Colors of Autumn – Haiku Poems by Anita Bacha

October fallen leaves

Heaping under the oak tree

To be swept away

Showers of autumn

A chill dance in the wind

Leaves fall in silence

In this autumn time

We behold nature’s showcase

Of aging and age

Autumnal showers

A steaming mug of milk tea

Breakfast at the pub

Nature’s master plan

Leaves put on attractive hues

Pride comes before Fall

Autumn butterfly

Open  your fine wings and fly

A storm is blowing

Thank you for viewing and reading my dear friends.

Happy October!

Autumn Equinox- A Poem by Anita Bacha

Summer rose bud of today

Morrow fall petals

Happy Autumn Equinox, dear friends and readers.

A few more haiku to welcome the month of September. Hope you enjoy them,my dear friends and readers:

Perpetual eve

Sunflower tints thwart the shore

Sky drapes in saffron

The sea pulls its waves

Molten colors on pebbles

 What  a lovely dusk

Birds fly far away

Leaving a quill on the shore

A poem starts here

Mind blowing  landscape

Arousing expanse fondness

Ink flows from my heart

Haunting prance of waves

A blaze of rites and colors

Nibbana on earth

Cool Moon – A Tanka Poem by Anita Bacha

Beyond scalding heat,

Drifting in the lush blueness,

A luscious cool moon;

Lying on the sandy beach,

Soft ripples caress my toes.

Happy reading my dear friends.

The Other Side Of Paradise – A Love Poem by Anita Bacha

God only knows,

She saw your smile in the crescent of the moon,

She saw your tears sashaying her window screen,

Or was it raining on a full moon night;

God only knows,

She was madly in love with the idea of you,

The scent of  henna on her beloved’s hand,

Breathed the perfume of rose in the desert sand;

God only knows,

How far this traveler had run around the globe,

She saw your footprints in a puddle of water,

She saw your fingers running in her tangled hair,

Or was it the rustling of the mimosa leaves;

God only knows,

She was intoxicated by the words falling from your lips,

She let you feast on her riches and her body,

She let you steal her soul,

She lost herself in you and she came to be you;

God only knows,

She heard her beseeching voice in the haboob,

Or was it the cry of a lamb in the arid dunes,

God only knows.

Ode to Monsoon – A Tanka Poem by Anita Bacha

On flooded rice fields,

The rhythm of the falling rain,

An ode to monsoon;

Children splash in soiled puddle,

Green frogs musically croak.

Good morning and happy Monday,my dear friends!

Happy Reading.

Glossy Blossoms – A Tanka Poem by Anita Bacha

Transience of beauty,

Glossy blossoms writhe and fall,

In a matter of time;

Summer flows in my garden,

Perky buds open their folds.
