Halo of the Sun – Tanka – A Poem by Anita Bacha

Awaken at dawn
Sublime halo of the sun
Meets her sleepy eyes
Moment of silent wonder
A pale moon on a pink cloud

Fragile Petals – Tanka Thursday – A Poem by Anita Bacha

Storm is blowing
Rose petals soft as tears
Lamentably
Fall and scatter around
Graffiti in my braids

Gallivant Butterfly – Tanka – A Poem by Anita Bacha

In floral bower

Blue gallivant butterfly

Flutters loftily

Kissing lilies as he flies

To vanish in wilderness

Cache of the Moon – Tanka – A Poem by Anita Bacha

searching the peach clouds

cache of the moon we find

in evening twilight

we sleep in the wild bower

lulled by snug breeze of flower

Evening Aurora – Tanka – A Poem by Anita Bacha

Evening aurora
Rushing thick orange mantles
Swirling wild and free
Cover the day’s teal blue sky
Light furtively vanishes

SOLITARY HAWK – Haiku – A Poem by Anita Bacha

solitary hawk
soaring as white clouds –
in sterling blue sky

As far as I know it is a blessing to see a hawk.

It is also believed by many that the hawk is a messenger bird. Usually when we see a hawk it means to pay attention because a message is coming to you. Hawks represent clear sightedness, being observant, our far memory and guardianship. They also bring courage, wisdom, illumination, creativity and truth. Hawks give us the ability to see the larger picture of life.( source Google) .

Happy Reading, my friends.
